First graders had their second annual jelly bean hunt on Monday. The rest of the week first graders used those jelly beans to add, subtract, measure and graph to first grade standards!
Thank you to all the people that made math fun this week - to the teachers who planned it and the people that supported the effort by contributing bags of beans!
No worries that students would eat these beans---- the teachers had a separate. stash for eating!
