Plans for a Drug Free Me Week at OPES

We had a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week this week and we are gearing up for an exciting and fabulous week May 9-13! Our Little Raiders are going places in school and in life! Being drug free is important to a healthy and successful life, so we will talking with students about staying focused on their bright futures and saying no to drugs. Please participate in the fun by dressing by theme and participating in all the great things we are doing this week! We have Doughnuts for Grown Ups this Tuesday, a music program Thursday and Field Day on Friday. We also have our BOGO book fair all week! We are so proud of all the gains your student has made this year and we know you are too! To keep their new reading skill, students need to read, read, read over summer and one great way to encourage that is finding books they will love at the book fair. At our BOGO book fair, the kids get twice the number of books for the money, so be sure to come or send your student with money and we can help them find just right books. Have a great week and we hope to see you soon!
